Any of you "Electrical Guys" have the wire color codes for the tail lights and brake/turn signals or do I have to play with pins and a volt meter?? :) All of my CV's had separate turn signals and required an adapter.....The MM's use the whole tail light for turn signals......Like in the "Good Ole Days"!!! ;)

Thanks,

oh no,... you're gonna pull a trailer? I don't even know where you'd put the hitch.

Same hitch as CV and GM....I got the 1.25" receiver that you hardly notice!! :)

Periodically I need to pull a boat and will haul my Cobra in the event of a "Hurricane Evacuation"!!! ;) My 2000 CV pulled the Cobra trailer well and with more torque and HP the MM shouldn't have any trouble in an emergency??

BTW.....I can remove and re-install the hitch in about 10 minutes!!

Get in touch with MikeE, he is a member here and routinely uses a trailer to tow his antique Ford. There are pictures floating around on the site somewhere.

hmmm,.. could ya post a few pics? Now I'm curious.

I didn't know that you could tow with a CV or GM.

as far as your electrical problem, I wish I could help. I'm a wrench turner, not a spark chaser. :)

Try the different trailer light harness companies like Valley hitches. I will bet that someone has a plug in adapter. I had one on my 97 CV. Cost 10-15 dollars not worth splicing and all that. Also the hitch tucks up underneath real nich and its a receiver hitch so you can remove it when your not towing.

I have a trailer hitch on my '99 GM--it was originally on my '02 GM.It was installed by U-Haul who still sells a hitch for the GM. They had all the adaptors and wiring --a real neat install. Has removable hitch . Towed a lot of things with my GMs--the only reason they derated the towing capacity was to force us to buy a SUV IMHO. Hope you have good luck finding what you need.

Me too. The TM.. I mean owners manual seems to suggest that we can't tow anything bigger than a jet ski. I have to go to a conference in warm spring OR in June, and would love to take my 19' jet boat on the Billy Chinook reservoir.

I had my hitch & wiring done at U-Haul. Quick, easy and reasonable. They don't list a class lll hitch for the MM. All the hitches are the same from 92 to present, so just get the part number from an older model. The Marauder is a great towing car.

You might try this http http://www.rigidhitch.com/
They not only sell everything for towing but usually
know the latest wiring stuff. As far as the color codes,
anyone with the shop manual from Helm should have that.
