First off, I've been a LONG time Crown Vic fan. My crowning achievement is a black 97 P71 with a Roush Supercharger, P&P heads, Reinheart transmission, and a laundry list of other modifications. She makes me smile when I step on the gas and I did all the work myself. Also have a tan 95 P71 with 182k on her. Still looks and runs great. And an beige 05 LX. A small fleet I know, but what can I say. I love the Panther platform.

Truth be told I completely forgot about them! I test drove one when they first came out and loved it and a friend bought one so I was familiar with them, but that was so long ago.

I checked around, found one for sale and thought, what the hell. Let's see if they still do it for me. I'm glad I did because I was in love and the price was right. I swore I would never drive anything but a Ford, but this is an extraordinary exception. (No offence to the Mercury fans here)

Anyway, the very first thing I did was get a K&N intake, PIAA headlight bulbs, StealthBulbs for the front blinkers, and a new set of fog factory lights (they were pitted to hell). Also just bought a 6L8T 18C815 FD Mariner head unit and am going to install Sirius if I can get some help on the part numbers. We all know what they look like but here she is. My 2004 Marauder with 75,000 miles on the dot. Just watched the odometer roll over this morning. She looks awesome. Hardly a scratch on her and for a New England car, VERY little rust anywhere. I intend to keep her looking like new for as long as humanly possible.
<o:p></o:p>
The first day I brought it home from the dealership and filled up with gas I had every single person at the gas station looking at me. It was hilarious. Ever since then I've been getting jaw dropping stares. Maybe it's my dashing good looks through the tinted windows, or the car.
<o:p></o:p>
Anyway, thought I'd say hello. Thanks for the forum and the amazing community. I'm sure I'll settle in nicely here.
