First off I'd just like to say I dont know **** about electronics so I just need some opinions about what after market CD/audio players are worth the money. I'm keeping the OEM speakers so I'm not looking for anything extreme, but I would like a touch screen with the audio input. For those of you with after market systems, which would you suggest? Thanks for the advice.

Change your speakers first!

You will get a lot of bang for the buck!

I've thought about it but I'm happy with the stock speakers enough to make me want to save the money and keep them

It makes no sense not to change the speakers. They are the least expensive upgrade you can do. If you change the deck you will still have the same sound!

I bought and installed an aftermarket Kenwood in mine when I had it. The model is discontinued, but it was a DPX-503. Looked NICE and kinda modern-retro in a way.

I noticed a bit of improved sound after the install, mostly because the Kenwood pushed more power and also had a FAR superior EQ onboard. The only thing I was in want of was more defined sub-bass, and even then I had the radio tuned in with the factory sub well enough to give me a lot of presence.

With that Kenwood could you get that harness that allows you to control it with the steering wheel controls?

Pioneer is your best bet.
