I miss my cars

It's only December and I miss being at the track every week, so I visited my cars + engines at various locations.
Race car is at the paint shop being disassembled + waiting for the new paint booth to be installed, its engine is at the machine shop being honed, decked, line bored + ready to get new pistons, monster heads + intake port matched.
Purple engine is at machine shop in Seekonk MA(found out block was N.G., brought them Teksid block I had) will also get new ported heads. Purple car is at local shop getting roll bars installed + new axles, locker, control arms, tires + rims + other work.
It's going to be a long winter

The Teksid block I brought to the engine shop was sitting outside too long and the pitting in the liners was too deep. We decided to go with a Boss BB block and use my Stroker crank and rods. New pistons for 10.5 compression and raise boost from 12# to 17-18# and tune for c-16.

You sound really sad about that extra horsepower you'll have. ;) I wondered how that block would be after being outside. Mine had to be bored .020 over after being out for a week. It was covered (not sealed), but, one rainstorm later... Should be really nice when she's done! Here's to next Spring!!! :beer:
