In the Blue MM that I just sold to Brad (PonyUp), I had a Pioneer 910BT and loved it except for when it crashed and I had to reload the software. It has navigation.
In my F450 I have the Pioneer 3300BT (I think that is the model number). It does not have navigation but it sounds killer.
What other units are out there that y'all like that are comparable to these units? Navigation is a plus but not essential. The use of my phone through the unit is also a plus.
I play music from my DROID Razor, my iPods, and thumb drives. I do not listen to a lot of network radio. I have never used Pandora in a car setting and am not sure how well it works and whether I need an iPhone to use it.
discuss/Suggest.
Marty look at the Pioneer AVH P3300BT. It will do everything you want. Nav is an option onit. It has front inputs fopr the thumb drive and SD card. It will also handle the I POd.

That's the one I have in myF450 and I love it.
What is the hub bub on the Pandora stuff I am seeing?
You need a I Phone to stream it in Marty. Pandora will make your own playlist once you give ot a few titles.

I use Pandora but I was wondering how I get it on the radio.
Now I see what you are saying.
The Pioneer radios will operate the Pandora if it is i phone.

Guess I am out of luck with my new DROID.
New models come out soon Marty. Maybe they will wise up! Seems like Kenwood might have one that will run the Droid. I do not sell them but it would be worth checking out. You could still get the signal in thru the aux input and control the stuff with the droid. Just not as easy.

I guess I should get the car running first and that will give them time to roll out the new units.

You don't need an Iphone for Pandora. If you have an Android OS phone you can just play it through bluetooth. I have a Droid X and use Pandora through my Sync bluetooth in my Taurus. As 4drcobra said as well you can use an AUX cable as well to run it then allow the use of the bluetooth for phone use via bluetooth headset or through the radio.

Not so.
The 450 was actually cheaper.
If I wanted to go all out, I would have gotten one of the new Scorpion diesels from Ford.
They are $60 grand of bad ass!!!

Personally I like Alpine. I have used them for a number of years and they work flawlessly out of the Box.
Of course if you want to add some real power to the unit then there are MRX V60
five channel amp. We sould talk about Subs such as the SWX 1043D or 1243 D and then there are the SPX 17Pro 6 1/2 you will need four of them. As for the head unit I like the INA 910W includes Nav, Pandora, you can include as extra HD radio, XM blue tooth the list could go on, and on but for full undistorted AMP power This is the top of the line. But just like the engine, how much power do you want or Audio/Video power
and perfection do you want and how much RWHP all depends on how much you are
willing to spend.

I hope this has been of some help. I know it is expensive, but I like the best.
Thanks for looking.

After 2 years I am very disappointed with my then flagship Kenwood DNX 9140, great features, all the toys,14 band EQ, great sound, buggy as hell, $1800 later..
I'd be gettin a Pioneer from Pops if I had it to do all over again...

I bought an Avic-D2 from Pops a few years ago. It's pretty nice, obviously fairly dated now, but I'm sure whatever the newest model is will be more than enough.

John, I believe that is correct.
Well, the part about the beeps anyway. I can not comment on the toilet part. I have my own issues! :P
