I have a non-oem COPS that I am going to replace with an OEM COPS. The non-oem COPS spring connector is stuck on the spark plug connector.

Are there any tips on unsticking the COPS spring connector?

What are the thoughts on using dieletric grease on the spark plug connector?

I tired the search but didn't find anything specific to this.

Thank you,

I always use dielectric.
I would use something like this to get it loose.

I usually twist the spring gently back and forth and that pops it free. Use dielectric grease and your good to go.

Use silicone dielectric grease.

Do yourself a favor and throw out the stock springs and get the aftermarket ones...

Lightning force performance has the best deal on the Internet for the connectors. $99 for all 8.

Had same problem before! Did this exact same thing and eventually work itself loose.
