Took mine to body shop and started stripping car down to bare metal. I have pics on camera of where you can see 4 layers of paint.....

Anyone got that warranty # handy to see if warranty will pay for my paint job?????? lol....

Will try to posts pics tomorrow if can...

The more positive note, car is at body shop, will be painted soon.....

That *is* surprising.

Where is your car in the build sequence?

Maybe you benefitted from respray trials when paint issues were discovered.

Yep and alot have more then that ford will at times repaint a car up to 6-7 times to make it a acceptable paint job as for warranty no way it will happen the most they go is 6yrs 100,xxx on a AWA(after warranty adjustment) sheet from customer. Ran a ford body shop 13 yrs I know for fact rep wont even consider if in service date is over 6 yrs old

Paint issues that were fixed by the Factory were on the first two weeks of August '02 builds. I was "lucky" and a got a entire repaint.

Actually was a joke.... How does that saying go, "wish in one hand and **** in the other and see which fills first!!!!"

Yeah we talked about this Jim. But Ford and many other domestic car co.s do the same stuff on darker colors like it's not gonna rear its ugly head one time or another and ussually by that time it's way past and warrantable amount of time.
