Im searching for the right tone and i am stuck between the aeros and super 44's. I was wondering if some people could throw a clip of your set ups so i can match the sound to my taste. Also i was wondering which ones make more pop and crackle after you let off the gas or is that just the deleted cats? Ive seen some on youtube and some aeros with 2nd cat delete were very poppy and i dont like. Im a fan of the deep muscle car sound. Thanks!

Mine with no rear cats and super 44's. Sounds like there is more pop than there actually is due to crappy camera mic

If you're lookng to replicate the sound of a pushrod V8, you'll be disappointed, the DOHC 4.6L won't give you that exhaust tone. Aeros are LOUD!

I have had both in my car and loved them both!

How loud do you want it???

While not a Marauder it will give you some idea of the Aero sound. These are the videos I took when I first had them installed. The videos make them seem to pop alot, but after a while that changed and the sound evened out, plus I added resonators which really smoothed the sound out. Overall I love the sound and felt they gave the car a very aggressive and deep tone.

Sorry about the wind noise, but that week we were having 40-50 mph gusts. If I get a chance I can try to take a more current video to give a better idea of the sound.

I am selling the Aeros by the way to go with a new setup if you are interested.

My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/ctrlraven

My older videos have stock piping, 2nd set of cats deleted, super 40 series (close enough) and res-delete tips. Newer vids have same setup but with Aero mufflers and the newest vids have all 2.5" mandrel bent stainless, 2 high flow cats, custom H-pipe, aeros and res-delete tips.

Flowmasters are chambered mufflers and Aeros are straight-thru so it's like comparing apples to oranges with these two mufflers.

There's a good bit difference between the two and I also used different cameras as well so that makes a big difference.

Here's with flowmasters

Here's my Grand Marquis with Super 44's:

Here's the Marauder with Delta 50's:

To me the Delta 50's seem to replecate the stock Marauder exhaust, but deepen and amplify it.

But then again, this setup for the marauder would be best:

I have AT 2525s but the rest of the exhaust is stock ~ guy down the street told me today it "sounds good as mu^$%^Fu@#$%" . I'll take that as a compliment.

Pretty loud, but at the same time i want the throatyness of an older v8. If that isnt achievable then something closer to what 03 Corba's sound like.
