This was listed on our local craigslist for awhile. Owner never responded to email questions. If I remember correctly from other pics and his add, this car has issues. The ABS light, check engine light and some other light were on while the car was running.

so wait, it says sales status: on minimum bid. So is it safe to say that the minimum bid is likely pretty high?

When it was on craigslist it also listed as "crashed, but everything has been fixed".

no, its not. people buy the badges and put em on, ive seen it a few times before. the guy originally wanted around $10000 for it when he was selling on craigslist, damn I wish I would have contacted him I probably could have got him down ALOT.

thats right, also in the original ad he did NOT have the 2 front marauder rims on, they were plain black ones. It said that they were dented or something.... I think I actually have screenshots on my other computer of both of his ads.

Also, although I can't actually see enough detail in the picture to tell, there were badges that were made that were meant to look like the police interceptor badges that instead said "Panther Interceptor." Haven't seen them in a while though.

Dont get your hopes up...when the auction goes live the bids will go up rapidly.

says the sale is completed.. does that mean someone got it for only $2650?:eek::eek:

That car is not for someone who does not have means to fix all the problems themself. Is it even worth2650.00 if thats what it sold for? Talked to the GM of St Louis Yard and info I got on it was like all cars Todd As is sale and considering tone of his voice it was just that as is needs tons of work had a backyard body damage repair. Frame probably pulled with a chain and tall oak tree. The dreamers need not dream about this car LOL

Needless to say theres a whole lot more to a car then a nice interior. Someone probably wrecked it and like a million diff cust I have dealt with over the years see's nothing but$$$$$ signs when given that lowbal 3000.00 ins ck and start thinking oh it aint that bad I can fix it myself aftermarket parts are only 700.00 not considering all the hidden damages(another 4000.00). so they do a very poor attempt of fixing and end result is a turd. Seen it a million times. Now that poor car will be left to lead a miserable life from now on Possibly trading hands a dozen times with each buyer thinking they got a steal(until they see what they got) what a shame!!!:shake::shake:

my point being alot of parts on that car would have been good for members here, and would have probably brought in more than $2650 after selling.

No this doesn't mean the car sold for $2650. Unless your watching the auction the highest starting bid which was the $2650 will still display. Alot of people seem to confuse Copart with Ebay, it just doesn't work that way. They also have HIDDEN reserves so a car that did not meet the reserve may very well be seen for sale again. If someone picked up this car for $2650 they were pretty lucky but i highly doubt it, it was more likely just the highest starting bid before the auction actually started.
