COBRA EMBLEMS: Just a quick question if anyone could help please...

I've been wanting to get two small cobra emblems on my marauder, behind the front wheels and I've seen some members here that have them but can anyone tell me where.I could possibly find them? Thanks

Don't like them then I suggest not looking at my car.

I don't know, they are very rare, I heard that there is no way to reproduce them,and, that they were patented by this lawyer down in Georgia.

To the OP, (since this thread, like so many others, has taken a few twists and turns not relevant to your question)......

it's YOUR car. If you like the way it looks and you got a few bucks to flip for badges, go for it. They usually come with 3M tape on the back so you just clean the spot where you want it, peel the backing paper off and stick it on.

AND......

it's not the end of the world. If you don't like them after all, you can take them off (carefully, of course!). My rear SVT badge, while not authentic, makes people think beyond, "Is that a cop??". And I think it looks cool....all that matters.

Back in the mid 80's I transplanted an Svo engine and trans, computer & boost control into a 1983 Turbo coupe with spearco grill mounted aftercooler. after the transplant I ordered an SVO badge for the RT side Trunk lid. // I had no problems crackin stock 5.o mustangs and camaros. I got Cobra 4.6ltr Interceptor for mine. Just innocent fun to mess w/people. They are cheap and when you get tired of them they come off with out doing any damage (if you had to drill holes to mount it would be different. As they are stick on it gets filed under "have fun, who cares"). My father put a Datsun emblen on the grill of his 67 Falcon wagon. You should have see the looks people gave it! LMAO! Some would even ask him "when did Datsun start making a big car like that?" :D

Rotors? No they are not vented from the factory....aftermarket. I might have to invest in a set when I do my brakes soon.

The Marauder OEM rotors are vented.

Most all late model cars have vented rotors.

Even Ford's ones the Snake always faces the front of the car. The really cheap knock off ones will both face the same way. They come marked Driver/Passenger side.

My own feeling is that we absolutely LOVE our MMs and we try to make them our own in many different ways. Some of us add performance items to make them go faster and handle better...and some of us add our own personal creative touches as we see fit, to do the same thing...make them different and our own. There should be room for all under the MM umbrella...that is what ownership of these (and other) fine vehicles is all about isn't it? No one should be so smug as to believe that their personal opinion is more than just that.
For my part, I have always liked the Mercury Cougar XR-7 G (Gurney edition) hood scoop and so I got one from the Cougar website folks, had it painted body color, and installed it on the hood of my D T R MM...at the last car show here locally, I had replies and comments all the way across the spectrum about my MM...and that is just fine. We are all intitled to our opinions. I like it on my MM and that is the most important thing to me, although I am certainly aware that some might feel differently, as I might about their vehicles.
I say, do as you see fit to your MM and enjoy seeing it, working on it, driving it...and feeling good about it every day. To me, that is what makes ownership of these fine vehicles worthwhile.
