Contact 'em and ask them directly.

BTW, AFAIK we don't have a site vendor that handles Kooks anymore, but SW is one of our supporting vendors, something to consider.
Also, from what I've heard in the past, Kooks are a lot tougher install on our cars than SW, something else to consider, especially if you're doing your own installation.

You might as well get KOOK's catted mid-pipe and forget the magnaflow x-pipe. Kooks catted mid-pipe will bolt directly up to the headers so that's one less thing that has to be fabbed up to fit.
These # are for the Marauder only
#6801 is just the headers
#6802 is just the x-pipe
#6803 is the headers AND the x-pipe

Just an FYI Kooks headers are not long tube headers but rather mid-length. Stainless Works are full long tube headers. Whichever you get def get them jet ceramic coated!

ok i understand then why so many people say they got kooks LT's if there not dont understand and what would jet coating do for them keep them from rusting and longer life im guessing

SW long tube headers have dyno proven just a little more power than compared to Kooks. Rusting is one part and the other is to help parts will run cooler when coated with a thermal barrier (ceramic coating for exhaust systems), allowing engine oil and water temps to possibly be lower. The radiated heat on headers will be substantially reduced leading to lower under hood temperatures and less heat absorption by nearby parts and surfaces.

"Long tubes" is kind of a generic term in comparision to FRPP "shorty" headers.

Both Kooks and SW headers have individual tubes running from the head flange down to a collector pipe. Either brand is considerably longer than the "shorty" style.
The length of the inividual tubes as well as the collector will determine whether they're mid-length or full long tubes.
Ceramic coating also reduces radiant heat.

You get what you pay for. Cost affects you once. You will be more concerned with performance & quality after the sale.

mine came coated, I would think vendors would sell them coated as an option.
Also just my $.02 from an old guy - its easier to get better answers if the questions are easier to understand

Have kooks on my 04 SB, Had SW's on both 03's I had if it had not been for getting for a steal I would have SW's on the 04 also. Kooks are a mid-length by no means would I call them true LT's as for SW's they are 100% true LT's having had both IMO SW's are a much better part. If not for the fact of considering going Turbo I would have bought a set a member by me is selling and Id sell the Kooks. Just my .2 cents. Will say though either are capable of making decent power when running a blower.

You can also ask if they can weld on HD flanges at the collectors. Should you ever need to pull the trans it will make the job much easier. When I bought mine they were slip on.

By far best choice. I would recomend contacting SW before you buy any other pasrts. They got Whole systems and I beleive another with mid pipes that bolt up. Excellent choice though my friend
