Hey just trying to see what kind of alarm system you guys use on you marauder. I'm getting a marauder in a few days and I wasn't sure if the factor one was good or not, but I was looking at getting the viper 5901, if u have that one any feed back would be nice, or even if u use factory I would like to hear from you thanks!

I use factory for the shear fact that I can't afford an aftermarket at the time. All I expect from it really is to lock and unlock my doors and trunk, I mean pats disables the ignition but I really just look at the factory alarm more like keyless entry.
I finally have a garage to park in at the house, so no more cold mornings, but its still nice and chilly leaving work.
The 5901 is the one I would prefer, in my area they run about $850 installed without extra sensors...so that will have to wait a long time... lol
Here is a good video on the 5701, no 2 way screen but still rated highly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTZwYE9MUQ0.

I have the Viper 5901 and it works great!
I had tilt sensors installed so my rims don't end up on craigslist...
The battery holds a charge for a few weeks to a month, only takes an hour or two to fully recharge it.
If you do get this one or for anyone who has this model, there's a guy on ebay who sells really nice leather cases which have a plastic cover for the screen, and cutouts for the charger and keyring.

Got my leather case from this site. It looks sharp & protects the remote.
