First hint, the part is sitting upside down.... that was my first struggle... it looks right, but not 100% on that.

Send it back. They made that one upside down. ;)

Looks about right to me.

I was talking about the tinted/nightshaded backup lights for the marauder fascias, as they are tinted compared to the regular crown vic fascia, from the factory.

From the factory there are NO lenses that are tinted, period.

You can do the S55 treatment on your own.

The tail and reverse light lenses on my '03 MM are darker/tinted compared to those on my '04 CV LX Sport

Correct, the 03 and 04 rear lights are darker than the CVPI lights or standard rear trunk light panel.

+1 ^krytin and ctrlraven.

I can tell you 5000 to 1 that the factory marauder backup lenses are tinted compared to factory cv/gm. Look at a picture of both, its obvious.

Here is a picture of an untinted fascia so I think the one you originally posted about appears to be tinted, just a comparison of the two. http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/104271/fullsize/2001-taillamps-fascia.jpg
