I need help in locating a hub that will work with a metco ring for the trilogy
I do remember that couple members here have them just need to get in contact and see if they can machine one up for me......any help would be great.
Here's mine. O's fan rich had these made. He tried to do a group buy but nobody seemed interested!

From what I was told, metco use to make them. But only a few were made.
A few members here have them.
Sherman had one on his car.

Hello,
Would these hubs have the correct spacing for the twin screw? I can't even find a smaller upper for the screw, Billet Flow said no to me twice. Anyone know of a reasonable alternative.
Thanks:burnout:

The pulleys are custom to trilogys specifications made by billet flow I believe.
I may be wrong but I think vortech buys head units from lyshom in sweden and then vortech builds kits around the head units.
Whipple for the past few years has built there own head units, but in the past used lyshom. :burnout:

If you can get the specs, send them to Metco. Rick down there can prolly get a hub machined for you without too many problems. He doesn't like to duplicate parts that other machine shops may still be producing, but if CPM isn't doing them any longer, Rick doesn't have a problem with that.

They made 'em for Trilogys? Did not realize that, thought they just produced hubs for Eaton M112 applications. If that's the case, then just give Rick or Kristi a holler and they should be able to take it from there.

Tom ran a good shop, and I'm happy he was able to make the sale. He was a client for years and I now can count him as a friend.
I have no plans to re-do this pulley thing. It was a once and done for me.
Metco told me it was not worth it to them to run off more, but that was then, who knows now.

We can manufacture a crank pulley hub that will mount our crank pulley rings with the necessary alignment for the Trilogy kit. This requires a dedicated program and an application-specific hub.
How many users might actually purchase one of these hubs?

The hubs we currently manufacture for the various Lightning/Cobra applications retail for $139.99. We expect that the Marauder hub would be priced similarly.
Crank rings in the 6.55", 7.40", +2 lb, +4 lb, and +6 lb sizes are $119.99.
If we chose to pursue the hub, provide a delivery date, and bill when the hub actually ships, would any users be willing to sign up and commit to one of these?

This sounds interesting, but I have a few questions.
1. The ring sizes are based on the eaton supercharger, if these rings work with the 2.3 twin screw, what is the boost relationship. 2lb ring for a eaton, what is the boost for the larger supercharger.
2. Is there any interference issues with the larger rings, such as the tensioner or something.
3. I don't remember the diameter of the stock trilogy ring, what size is it so we know what bigger ring to buy.
Thanks:burnout:

IIRC it is 7 5/8. I can confirm that tonight.

The 4lb ring is the biggest you can put on without modifing the tensioner. With the 4lb ring and the stock 3.5" blower pulley on the 2.3 whipple(non trilogy-eaton swap style) we see 20.5psi. Which is right at 4lbs more than stock boost on a terminator.
NATEHAWK
01-19-2012, 08:36 AM
I have a 3.0 with 4lb crank pulley on a Trilogy and the tensioner had to be notched just a tad to insure no rubbing. I see like 18lbs of boost.
Michael
01-19-2012, 06:09 PM
Thanks guys, I checked the lower pulley clearance today and figured it would only take a 2lb before it may hit, good to know a little grinding and it will fit the 4lb.
I can't commit to a purchase right now, but if it is made available on the web site in the future I would buy.
Thanks

This would have been at the begining of 2011. I was instructed by someone at Metco to contact Jerry Barnes with Trilogy. A guy who answered the phone for Triology said to contact Rich or Rick at Metco, he would have the dimensions and could make the hub. I called and spoke to someone, who said Rick is in sales, and after explaining what was going on they told me it would not be worth the money and time to have Metco produce it. From what I remember, it seems like it was an older lady but I can't remember her name.

Can understand why it would be, especially if you got a circular run-around.
Rick and Kristi normally handle customer requests, not certain who the older lady would have been, but that's too bad; I've always had excellent response and service from the Metco folks.
