I am in the auto body business and fit and finish has been a problem with aftermarket parts. OEM part manufactures know when a mold for plastic/flex-able parts starts to fail and will replace the mold before fit and finish is a problem. They also know when a stamp for sheet metal parts starts to deform and replace it before fit and finish is a problem. AM part manufacturers will use a mold or stamp till it fails. You can buy the same AM part and lets say the first time it fits fine and then the next time you buy one it does not fit. You just never know if it will fit or not. They do take returns and log how many returns for any particular part. They will let you know before buying if you ask how many times the part was returned for fit and finish problems.

I have had two of them the one for my vic is perfect the one that went on my marauder was wavy as all hell and had to be replaced again with oem

I would pay the extra for the factory grill............... Be advised that OEM grills are now ONLY available in Black. I have broken 2 in the 9 years I've owned my car.

I'll stick with my $54 certifit grille. Fit is damn near perfect (no better or worse than Mercury's idea of good fitment..) and finish is outstanding.
