Losing push on hard accel

The motor starts and runs well but on any hard tip in more than normal driving, causes the blower to make a warble sound and loose it's push.
No clanky motor sounds just wierd blower sound.

Possible belt slippage?

I suppose it could be that the tensioner is weak and squeeky

Check the boost bypass.
