You try them out & let us know. As always, can't beat free!!!!

Learned my lesson with Granetelli Pro Coils & now have brand new OEM Motorcraft coils.

A number of members here say stick with Motorcraft coils and I have to agree with them.

I have 8 brand new Granetelli Pro Coils that were sent to me for warranty and they will remain in the box in my closet.

But if anyone wants to take another chance and buy them let me know.

I for one think if all is good why spend the $$ on oem's if you got those for free. 1st time mine start acting up I plan to try out a set of the MSD's. I have always stuck with OE's but heck why not try something different.

I have the in my DD, and have about 10k on them. One crapped out so far, but it was a total coil failure with an engine code. I think it's better than chasing a slight misfire, but not as good as oem

I'd use them for free.

Just be prepared to replace them.

For now. First sign of hesitation or a rough idle, you know where to look first.

Have had them on 10k miles still no issues. Paid 150 shipped via eBay.

Nothing wrong with Accel coils. Any coil can fail, including Motorcraft. Theoretically, Accel and MSD should be better than OEM. I had Motorcraft coils fail on my supercharged 5.4 2V and replaced them with 8 Accel's.

I have them in my set up with Accel DIS-8 for 2 years now. No problems.
