Fabulous Fords Forever (The west coasts biggest Ford,Lincoln,Mercury meet) is scheduled for April 22nd 2012 in Buena Park,Ca. (Los Angeles county). I'm 85% sure I'll be making it down this year. Anyone interested in participating and representing for the Marauder community? Last year there were only 2 of us, but the previous year there were 7. Hopefully more will turn out this year. The show is on a sunday but we usually ride down from the Bay area on friday with the local mustang club (Ca-mustangs). We make a few stops on the way down picking up others in different areas. When we arrive in the Buena Park area we are usually around 140 cars deep. Hope to see you there.:burnout:

I lived about 5 miles from this event until 2003. I went every year. There was no registration then. Mustangs were about 75% of the cars. It is a great event to see/attend!

My question is about the discounted tickets to get into the park itself. Can one buy them and visit the park during the car show?

Im kinda off the subject here but im a mechanic for a ford dealer in the bay area so i get a pretty phat discount for all ford parts and FMS performance parts. I posted here because most of you are from the bay area. I dont mind hookin any of you up if your looking for parts.. Anything to help my fellow marauderers

ktt, that is good to know. I think we would all like to know what Marauder specific parts are even still available :mad: Seems like everything has been superseeded, obsolete, discontinued, etc. And those that have been superseeded aren't always the right color or part. For instance, I ordered a new hood insulator (since I have the K&N CAI that rubs the insulator good), they ordered me a new one (with the new part number) but it isn't quite the same.

Yes, that is a great question. I sort of figured that the parts were all gone by now. When I first got mine I picked up a spare grill (correct color) and a spare wheel on ebay. I figured that if I had a collision with anything other than a marshmellow the grill would be toast. I hope I don't jinx myself writing about this as I still have the spare grill.

I have an extra rear bumper cover and front grill. I'm holding onto them for dear life. lol

I could have gotten a front bumper cover before they were out. As well as teh driver side seat cover, but I dragged my feet. Next thing you know, no more available. Ugh.

When you register in advance pick the group for your car. If I remember correctly there was a group L for Lincoln Mercury all models.

Have been watching this thread grow over the last few months, Today the link still says "stay tuned for upcoming events"....so, no reg form yet?...did not see link to a downloadable form. Will be there....from Murrieta/Temecula and have seen one MM since mine was delivered 5-2010! And this guy was using his as a work truck! We have spring rod run coming up, March I believe, I go but not the MM, so - see you all in April.

I'm part of a group of 6 crown victorias and 1 grand marquis that are confirmed attending FFF. Chris Adams from ADTR.net is bringing his Supercharged 2004 CV.

is there any interest in combining our two groups? at the moment we are planning on meeting up at a starbucks just down the street from the show.

I don't think it would be a problem getting together. There is a huge line to get in. so gathering together is sort of hard. Once you get inside, they park you by groups. So, it depends on what group you sign up for. There is a LM group and a Ford group. Your choice.
Back when I lived in Texas I invited the CV group to join us at a car show. To me, the more the merrier.

Ya buddy. It goes down like that. Leave early morning friday and arrive in the early afternoon. Kick back, shoot the sh**, and relax. They usually have a cruise on saturday planned out but totally up to you. Last year I went to West Coast Customs. Oh, also cars & coffee saturday morning. Which is cool. Lots of cars, foreign domestic and exotics. Then saturday afternoon is clean and detail time for the show sunday. Early morning entrance to the show sunday morning then I usually walk back to the hotel and get ready. Then its off to the show.

Ive attended the last 2 years. The first year I went there were around 7 Marauders there. Last year there were just 2 of us. This year, from what I've seen around here should look plentiful.

Just thought I would share my itenerary. Getting gas and car wash Friday after work and heading to Morro Bay for the Saturday vintage police/fire car show. After car show, get gas at Costco in San Louis Obispo. Maybe lunch at F.McLintocks. Decided not to do Hearst Castle. Arriving at Medival Times for dinner. Meet at Starbucks Sunday morning for meet and greet with other Marauders and Crown Vics. Fabulous Fords car show on Sunday. Gas at one of two nearby Costcos. Dinner at Pirate's Dinner Theater. Monday morning, Universal Studios. Leaving that afternoon to stay at Madonna Inn in San Louis Obispo. Then next morning final trek home.

Not sure if my plan allows for any caravaning/convoying with other panthers. But we will see.
