Will our XCal 2 read trouble codes on a Hyundi Santa Fe, SUV

It's a 1994 so it's OBD-II compliant. Don't want to fry the tool or the car, internet shows some models but not this one.

Thanks,

As long as the vehicle is OBD-II compliant it will work.

Thanks, FBM.

It works, showed a defective rear cat. But the problem is rough idle could they be cause and effect? I suspect a bad COP, car has 114K but plugs are new. It's a 4 banger. Just started this idle problem yesterday.

The rough idle could cause raw / unburned gas to be dumped in to the exhaust causing the cat to self destruct.

I'd fix the rough idle issues first.
