I will be installing the level 1 Tranny kit, forced tail shaft lube mod and replacing the c-clip and stub shaft etc. Looking for either a CD or book to show the proper way to drop the tranny in the Marauder, that shows how to remove cables, bolts etc. And that shows where the new parts I will be installing all go. I want to do the work in my garage myself.
Thanks Kelly

Just keep in mind that there are copyright laws that apply here... I was going to post some '04 specific wiring details and my tech suggested I might be treading on shark-infested legal waters. So, as I usually spew forth, we have to keep it in perspective...
Besides, the service manual may be a little pricey, but at the very least it's GREAT bathroom reading (okay, I'm a nerd I admit it...) and really gives you some insight into the car and its construction. Owning this manual (and the wiring manual) is kind of like owning the elusive "Human Female Owner's Manual", if you get my drift... It's one thing to enjoy the experience but sometimes it's better to know how things REALLY work.

I thought that Dennis or one of the vendors, or maybe even one of our members had written a tech article and placed it on the site. But, I can't seem to find it now. You might want to search through the tranmission threads and see if you can locate it. :help:

I purchased the Shop manual that MarauderMike makes mention of. I did it with much hesitation because of the price. After getting it I am in no way regret my purchase. It was very helpful this weekend when doing my front suspension.
It’s also nice just to be able to look up any bolt on your car and find a torque spec for it too.
Good luck with your tranny and let us know how the upgrade goes :)

Which of the 3 manuals should I get (workshop, powertrain, and wiring)? Are all really needed to know what is going on inside this car? The set of 3 is $311 direct from Helm.

I believe it’s the workshop manual. They tried to sell me the wiring manual but that info is pretty readily available from the good folks on this message board
