Intercooler

What intercooler are you centrifugal guys running. I am currently running a icevex intercooler I need a bigger one do you guys have any input on any good ones.

I read a post on Marauder forum on the Chicago SVT web site where the Icevex was a recommended intercooler for Centrifugal S/C. Don't recall a particular size.

Your Meth should drop it 50* to ~20* above ambient at ~19psi on a T Trim. I would think at ~19 psi your S/C would generate less heat than a T Trim.

I also have an IceVex.

I think glassman99 has a better A to A than the IceVex.

The weird thing is, I had an s-trim on my previous marauder and i spun it harder than my current car on a t-trim.
The old car had the first style intercooler DR sold with the kit.
My current car has a ice vex and it sees about 8-10* hotter at 60mph.
There are better intercoolers out there, we just have to find them.

For my Procharger setup I plan on buying directly from Procharger or these guys http://www.treadstoneperformance.com/view.phtml?f_cat=intercoolers.

Treadstone makes a great product and they are reasonably priced compared to the other high end units. I'm looking at the TRV25 unit but they also sell them in the same style as the icevex units used on Dennis's kits. The TR12 or TR1045 (if it fits) would be my choice if I was upgrading a Paxton or Vortech kit.

Could also look into ordering a core and ends, then having a shop braze it all together for a custom unit depending on what your looking for.

I had a 3-core Procharger that was chin mounted. Way too big to fit behind the grill/bumper. Worked awesome and cruising temps were always 10deg above ambient.

That's an old photo from the air2air kit I used to have. The Mummy wrapped tires are still in storage.
