I bought a set of 8 Accel cops little more than 1 year ago. Had a miss over the break - put in 8 new TR6 plugs - replaced all COPS with sock Motorcraft (I saved them) now it runs perfect.
Add another one to the list of: Accel cops = junk.
I knew it was a bit risky buying them. Just thought I'd share this.

I've had my Accel's for 18 months, never a miss, I don't really think it has to do with manufacturer, there are failures in all, including OEM.

Accel COPS get less than favourable reviews over on CVN, along with the Granatellis.
Seems like Motorcraft and MSD get the high marks.

I've had 2 Accel 300s on my 96 ImpalaSS and they both fail. I also had a MSD 6AL
It failed as well so now I have a Mallory and a Motac, they seemed to be working fine
together.

This also could be DPFE/EGR - bucking only at float (35-40)
