Thought this car was very interesting--anyone know anything about it? Looks like a unique supercharger set-up.

It was just an auto show concept car. It can not be legally driven because of the lack of safety reinforcement.

With enough money, I'm sure you could. Probably a lot cheaper to take a regular MM and throw an sc in it and make it a vert.

It also has to be crash tested to be rated. The owner in PA said he had a Ford tech remove the speed limiter and it runs and drives like a normal car. Just $75k for something that has to trailer and looked at in the garage is no way worth it.
Our idea was to have this car on display at MV9 but the owner declined.

I was in PEI a few (OK, quite a few) years ago and up at Cavendish Beach I saw a group of very UNmechanically inclined partiers in a Ford Fairmont (last iteration) to which they had taken a hacksaw to the roof. Six twenty-somethings in a home-made cocnvertible.
I cringed at the thought of how that car would fod up like an acordian if they were to be in an accident. They, of course, seemed oblivious to the perils of driving a mutilated sedan on a unit body.
At least the MM has a full frame under it, but I'd still doubt it's performance in a significant accident.

That would have been cool! I can't say I blame him tho. I don't think I would show up at a Marauder gathering with a Marauder I couldn't drive around.

It was also logistics. He would have to tow it all the way out Hershey and back plus the weather was not exactly on our side that week. I'm also not sure he wanted that many people around the car that he's asking $75k for.

Oh my bad, I thought he lived nearby to the gathering spot. Still would have been cool. Maybe next time!

Steve Babcock stated that if one were to go over a RR crossing too hard, that car would bend like a pretzel.
