Use this index with common sense when getting an HID kit.

I have 5000 in mine, and at times wish I had gone 4300. IMO 5000 definetly has a blue tint as well, maybe not as strong as 6K, but blue none the less. Much more so then say Silverstar bulbs.

Why does it say not to use 3K in the fogs? I thought that was a good one to use in the fog?

I see so many of those stupid twits with the purple hue bulbs!

12,000 K = Ricer Retard

They don't realize that they are worse for illuminating the road than the OEM bulbs....:shake:
But they (think) that they look cool......WRONG!

I'll stick with my nice bright white PIAA bulbs until I go to HID someday.

Honestly it really depends on the lamp housing it's placed in. Something as small as our foglights really don't help spread the light around which with that color you want more of a spread of.

Why is 6000K RICE?
Because it still has a very noticeable blue tint to it. The idea of doing HID lights is to illuminate the road better for you to see now spread colors of rainbow all over the place. lol

The first picture is used as a joke, the second picture is legit.
