CD and Radio Sound fine, tape player scratchy.

Using a tape with aux cable to play through my phone, all of a sudden the drivers door speaker sounds scratchy and horrible.... But if I switch to radio or cd.. it sounds normal... Is the tape player dirty???? How can I fix this?

Sounds like just better go with an aftermarket deck!

These OEM radio/stereos are a POS.

My radio doesn't work in mine and I just going aftermarket already.

Cheaper in the long run and you'll be more happy with better technology.

It's up to you, IMO.

Might want to check the headphone cables too, especially where it connects to your mp3 player.
