Less then 250 miles on it, drove back from Lidio's with it, changed it when I got home. It is a K&N, cheaper than dirt for you only.

Everything but the filter. I think I might of used one of the clamps I'll check. Its black with about 5000 miles. How does $80 shipped sound?

Don't even waste your time with that flimsy piece of plastic. I made more on the dyno after I took it off and no more heat soak than before.

I got a Version 1 JLT used from another member years and years ago, didn't have heat shield and still doesn't now.

I believe Travis only built two of those CAT boxes.
One is on his car and the other has just been sold by another member.
I have trying to talk Travis into buildng another, but he has a new full time job
and is not interested in getting back into buildjng MM or Panther equipment andy longer
He will sell what he has in inventory but will not build a CAI box.

Just looking at the heat shield should be all the proof you need.

If your not to interested in the sound a JLT or K & N generate save your self some bucks and get a K & N drop in filter. The Roush designed OEM is pretty good at flowing air. :)
