FST MERC Wal-Mart Sandusky, Ohio

I was dropping my boyfriend off at work today (1/6/12) at around 2:30pm, and parked in the back-40 was a Black with "FST MERC" Ohio plates (Lorain County stickers)

I left a post-it note on the windshield. The car really made my day.

The story behind the mirror...

I was driving home from Sandusky around 3:30am one Saturday night (Late August), it was storming like mad. I just merged onto the part of SR101 between Sandusky and Castalia that is two-lanes in each direction. Before I could even react, there was a homeless man walking *with* traffic, in the middle of my lane, wearing all black. I swerved just enough to not hit him head-on. He hit the passenger side of my car, put a hole in my windshield, ripped my passenger mirror off, and messed up the passenger-side front window.

He was at fault, but I still had to get my windshield replaced. Since in Ohio you need either your rear-view or passenger mirror, I haven't bothered getting it replaced.

Mark is COOL S55. I've seen FST MERC once, better than 5 years ago. I believe that he works at FORD, Ohio Assembly. We had just got off work, late at night, saw him, was trying to pull up next to him to see who it was, and he turned just as I was pulling next to him. Ironically, Mark and I live in the same county as this car and I've never seen it, at least the plate, again.

There were at least five of us working at Ohio Assembly at the time with a MM, he was the only that I never met. Now, two of those five are parked in my garage.
