Hi,
I'm looking for a ABS Module (ECU) w/o traction control. I believe the part# is 3W3Z 2C219 EA.
I want to run staggered tires on my 2004 CV Sport but the ABS doesn't like the difference. Kicks the ABS off at 60 mph.
Thanks,
John

You'll need the ABS pump as well....

That's really funny, I just made about 250 of them last night.

Thats awesome because I only need 1. You can keep the other 249.
I know it will be a fairly hard part to locate, but a guy's got to ask.

When I start with them they are about $13, by the end of the line they are near $400.

Would this be the part that the 4 brake lines thread into and there is a cylinder and a rectangle plug that goes into it? I have one off a 300A if this is the correct part.
What's the going price for a low mileage one? I'll try to get a pic of it.

If complete with module, $150 -250

Ok guys educate me. The module is what is calibrated for the difference in tire size on the marauder?
On my CV do I need to change both the module and the pump, as an assembly? Is it possible to get the CV module recalibrated? I assumed the pump itself would be very similar between the two cars?
The module has 4 lines into the top and 2 on the aft face.
Thanks,
John

I'm not certain. I do know that if you remove this, you will have to have the ABS computer cycled to get the air out of the module. That requires a trip to the dealer who has the computer and that will cost a few hours labor. We had a member remove his thinking it was the air compressor and had to trailer his car to the dealer when he had no brakes. This isnt a simple remove and replace then bleed.

Hi,
Well been doing a lot of reading. Apparently the ABS Module, which is the computer and HCU is part# 3W3Z-2C219-HA without Traction Control
3W3Z-2C219-EA is the ECU only.
Sure would be nice if the ECU would work on my CV HCU but can't break the pat numbers down that far.
HCU is marked on top 3W73-2C346-BD.
Having said that pm's have been sent.
Sorry if this sounds like a tech section post

The number stated for the HCU is the engineering number. The part number for that is 3W7Z.2C286.BB .
PM received.
