ported plenium,what to do

27180I recently bought a ported and polished blower and plenium.the plenium as the pictures show have been totally cut out.No bore holes.Can I still bolt a stock or ported TB on????Or do I have to either cut the whole TB holes out and install a single oval blade or do I have to buy a TB with a single oval blade witch run almost $500????Any suugesstions.

That's a intake elbow for a Billetflow or Accufab SBTB (single blade throttle body). Nothing wrong with it! I just polished one and sold it recently. You need a SBTB now!

I know this isn't taking advantage of the situation, but can a dual-bore throttle-body be used with this piece?

Unfortunately, no. Only because of the hole mismatch between TB and elbow for the IAC. I got rid of the one I had because of the nicely welded/ported Eaton elbow I have now (thank you for the excellent welding on that!) to match my 65mm BBK and the price for even a used SBTB isn't worth it for me now. :beer:

He could do that too. You have to plug the IAC hole in the tb. Kinda a waste though. I'd just buy a single blade tb for it if I was Bugsy.

With that elbow, if you get the LFP TB Dave has, you won't need to port anything at all. Use gasket sealer rtv and slap it all together! :beer:
