View Full Version : Procharger pulley size?

I'm shopping for the misc parts for my procharger setup and am starting to look at pulleys. Just wondering what sizes the various Procharger users are running.
I believe the F.I.T. kit came with a 3.7" but I'm curious what others have swapped over to and what levels of boost you have seen.
Also if anyone has feedback on the Reichard Racing pulleys vs the ones from procharger it would also great. Thanks.

Phil I would suggest to stay with the PC pulleys, I belive I have seen people around here run 10psi on a 3.7 pulley.

I had a 3.9" with a D1SC and FRPP shorty headers, it was about 11 psi.

with 3.7 you can run 12.5 - thats what i used to run with that size - i run a 3.6 with a built motor

3.7" it is then so don't blow anything up. Should have just ordered it with my bracket yesterday but wanted to check with you guys first.
Was thinking the Reichard one would be nice but its not really worth the extra dough since it will be facing the timing cover.

Running 3.6 with no problems...

Phil you have a different blower, I think the P1SC1 runs less psi with same pulley size.
Then again it all depends how efficient your intercooler is gonna be.

Trying go get the best IC I can up front. Figure that will be one thing I don't want to have to change down the road if/when I decide to up the power levels.
Are most of you guys still running the PC IC that came with the FIT kit? I'm leaning towards that IC or something with similar specs from treadstone.
I want to try to be as safe as possible as this will still see lots of daily use for awhile and I figure can easily change a pulley down the line.

The Reichart might chew up your belt. You probably won't have belt slip, so probably won't need the reichart? If you need an extra pulley to go between the alt. and p/s pulley, i may be able to help you out.

The IC that came with the Kit does well in this Hawaii heat...

Still running the stock pulley and ic that came with the kit. No problems thus far.

I'm definitely interested if you could help out. Saw this on several of the Centri cars at the last SSM Picnic and was planning on trying to make something similar.
If you already have something let me know and I can buy it the first week of February.

Good to know, the heat and humidity are my main concern down here in Florida. I currently drive 60+ miles day just for work and want to make sure it will still be kosher when I'm stuck in traffic.
I k now they also have a slightly larger version and the price buying direct through Procharger are much better than their dealers. Hardest thing will be trying to wedge it in there.

I am running 10-11psi with a 3.7 pulley on my P1SC.
I would recommend 60lbs injectors, BAP, and better fuel pump if you use the 3.6 pulley.

That's my plan, the Aeromotive 340lph (P/N 11142), a modded FPDM (going to do it myself), and 60lb injectors (unless I get a really sweet deal on used 39lb ones). Figuring if I mod the FPDM I shouldn't need a BAP at that point.
Still on the fence trying to decide between the 3.7 and 3.6 pulley. May just say F-it and go straight to the 3.6 and keep it tuned conservatively.

Phil people put the modded FPDM mainly because of the BAP high voltage.
In another note I have heard the aeromotive 340 doesn't do well with the high voltage of the BAP.
Maybe something for you to consider.

I love my 3.70 so far. I've seen 11 to 12 psi at redline.

So your thinking aeromotive 340 w/no BAP or modded FPDM? You know my plans, mild street build only, and staying in mid 400 range for power.

Larry ran out of fuel with that pump at 550rwhp with no BAP or modded FPDM.
He also has one for sale.
