Do any of you have any experience with the MGP caliper covers?
One of my friends from college days asked me about those...he cannot afford to replace the brakes on his Impala SS now...and does not think he wants to paint the calipers...therefore, his interest in the covers.
Anybody know anything about using those?

He can't afford to do brakes right now and maybe does not want to paint his calipers?..Those caliper covers are around $200 for a set and I'm not even sure if that is for two or all four. I would be buying paint and cleaning them up if my budget was tight..A whole lot cheaper.

If I got the caliper covers for free I wouldn't install them... :down:
Like the poster above said, a few bucks in paint and cleaner and some elbow grease.

Covers = garbage.
Clean old sets, paint, reinstall, flushing entire system

Chevy engine orange looks outstanding on them too. But I'm not smart enough to post pictures.

I was inspired by the pictures here and so I ordered some caliber paint and painted mine red. Looks pretty good too.
My new question is this...if I upgrade my brake system on my '04 MM...for street use (K & N air intake installed...perhaps exhaust upgrade and 4:10s and tune in future), is there one aftermarket supplier's offerings that is better for my use? Do you folks have better luck with one vs another?
