Why not get a 340lph pump for the same price? Aeromotive 11142...

A lot of bad reviews that's why. Stick with a solid working product so you only make the purchase one time. I'll be using dual gt-40 pumps anyway.

Bad with the DivisionX, not the Aeromotive.

Doesn't Walbro make this pump? I found one for $99. Same specs.

A very good upgrade pump wise guys is the new Walboro 400LPH. Rather then trying to wire 2 pumps thru one lead on fuel hat just go with one, Personally all Ive read on this it is a very good pump. One of these and a BAP should be good for quite a bit of power. As for that price on the GT pump that is a excellent price though.

400lph FTW. I have done alot of homework on this and it simply makes alot more sense then the twin GT pumps. With the twin pumps going thru one lead you never get the full potential of them pumps due to running only one set of wires thru the hat. With 1 pump (400 LPH) & a BAP You are sure to get all the pump has to offer(with adequate lines, inj, rails)

Isn't the 255 lph pump more than adequate for a supercharged car?

It is to a certain point. Myself and many others are using 255lph pumps. But when you start making big power, you need more go go juice. Hence bigger pump or pumps.

True with slight modifications. The 400's main issue is volume, because of increased flow rates (just like plumbing). This is takin care of by the BAP though. They are also good for E85 which is a plus, but only good till 525 RWHP or so on a return style, and 750 RWHP on 93.

What Joe said. They can easily handle close to 500 give/take with a BAP, assuming it is still as efficient as it was when new.I have had the one you ordered for two years now with no ill effects with the BAP even though this pump is not recommended on returnless systems.

Exactly. I plan to Posi port the Trilogy and throttle body, add at minimum a 4LB lower ring (hopefully I can get a 6LB to clear), my 2.8 upper, 60 LB injectors, 400LPH fuel pump, thinking about going return style for E85, new billet tensioner, valve job, and if money allows a new set of high lift cams and springs. (<this will be the deterimining factor of do all this now or later in the year)

Best you will do is the 4lb lower. Anything else bigger will hit.

So I have read. Nothing can be matchined down or altered for clearance?

You have to shave some material off the tensioner to insure no rubbing using the 4lb. So a 6lb is 100% no go.

Bob, please let me know when and where you're gonna purchase your 60lbs and 400 fuel pump, a must upgrade for me along with the 90 maf. Walbro seems like the best, but would like to still here the comparison to the gt40.

FYI fellas Walbro makes the pumps for motorcraft. I have a new one in box and when you pull it out of the sleeve Walbro is engraved.

Here's the site I ordered from for the 255lph. They don't list the 400.

I emailed them this morning to get an ETA and they got back to me in less than an hour so it sounds like they are on the ball.
