Being Recognized

Today i went to the post office to drop off some mail.
As i am getting out of the building, a guy stopped me and asked if the black Marauder is mine. I said, "yep its mine", hehe.
Then he says, "Looking at the red Wilwood calipers you have, you spent some money on that kit. What else did you do?" :D
I pulled on the hood release and told him to open the hood. You should of seen his face, when he saw the Trilogy supercharger :eek:..
he asked me what the HP is and some other questions.
I asked him what he has. He had a stock Merc AMG..It had a nice stock supercharger and cross drilled rotors with better then stock calipers.

The experience told me that i have something that is really special.
Take car of your cars, i know for sure that i am never selling mine :banana2:

Great story. Reminds me of last Saturday night at the movies. There I was waiting for Mel near the bathrooms AFTER the movie was over and over walks a nice guy and his wife and simply asked "Are you the owner of that black Marauder?" I was like :confused: How does he know its mine? I quickly look for Marauder apparel on me, for once, nope... Turned out he followed me in the lot and used to own a vintage Marauder. Poor guy must have not paid much attention to the movie trying to remember what I looked like. Still cool and weird all together. The older, more stylish, and louder she gets, the more compliments just roll in anywhere she goes!

My brother gave me his Moser 4:10 gear..Took a pic before they went in.
I dont have a pic of my rear brakes but you can see the front ones that i put in.
And of course the engine bay with the trilogy

Thanks for the posts ....I've given some serious thought of selling mine to get something new .... but stories like yours make me want to never sell it. ( We'll maybe for a 2013 Focus ST later ) :D

Oh forgot that i put in hawk race pads HPS ones too.
I have the stainless works exhaust system, i have to work on it some more. Too cold right now to work on it.
I put in a really oil guage, took out the stock one.
I have the billet aluminum steeda control arms.
A double din pioneer nav with a 6 dvd in the trunk



I couldnt stop modding, and i did it all myself. I only didnt put in the rear gears and the rear brakes. lol
