Thanks. Yeah I am looking to see what offers flows in. Realistically I am not disciplined enough to save and be in this hobby (Marauder/Mustang) at the same time lol..my brain works like this: for 2012 I am already earmarking 2k in suspension work; full shocks, complete new air ride setup, and ultimate panther handling pack from Sparta, then go with some sort of street brake setup then paint 6-8k then sc 6-7k....then?

I would like to sell with I put into it is it though realistically slim; finding the right person to buy this kind of car in the Northern California cough, cough but hey Ill put it out to see what the market looks like. It seems like I go through this exercise every other year.

^^This car is worthy of a Whipple 2.3 for sure but a Vortec S or T trim will work too. I've put a lot of time, energy and money into this beast of a car. It is a great foundation to start with fully built BBS motor and 4R75W trans (easily support 600-700rwhp as is). You could also keep as is as the torque from the boss big bore stroker 5.3L makes this a joy to drive. With that said I am pretty set on price some offers of 10-11k are not inline with what the car is. What the market can bear I get it... Perhaps the market isn't ready then;) I don't have to sell and definitely not desperately trying too either.

How about you sell the Mustang, Suburban, and keep the MARAUDER! Btw, is that a 1/2 JLT & 1/2 K&N CAI combo? Anyways, back on topic good luck with the sale and whoever grabs it won't regret it!

Hybrid system to accommodate my SCT BA3000 MAF. Essentially needed a CARB EO# (California smog requirement) which the K&N system has JLT well does not. I thought I could just swap out JLT for the K&N but no dice; my MAF is too big for the K&N inlet so I just used the JLT intake tube and elbow problem solved. Actually the more and more I post about specifics and the sale of this car the more and more I think I may just suck it up and keep it.

Only if you're purchasing;)

I have to get some ambition to get it detailed vacuumed and lathered up for the shots. Maybe this weekend.

Also, would a video of it driving around be possible, nothing elaborate just some street driving with 1 or 2 WOT pulls?

^^330rwhp/370rwtq backed timing down (Cali gas) 321/360 daily drive with this tune. I believe with some long tubes should be in the 360/370rwhp range. As for video's If you check the YouTube page click on more videos I have some posted up.

Zip code 95304. I shipped my moms car out to Maryland for $750 in 2008.

Are there any blemishes on the exterior? I noticed the picture of the right of the car has 2 swirls, wasn't sure if that was because of the camera or something was wrong with the paint

dohc324ci
02-09-2012, 03:59 AM
That's called Cali sunshine and iPhone 3GS camera. Paint is OK normal 8 year wear and daily driver duty and use. The car has 2 small door dings, front end has some chips from hwy use. It's priced accordingly. Value I place on the car is the money outlay ed on the engine and trans and supporting mods. To make it a true garage queen add a SC of choice, suspension and big brake kit then paint and done. Interior is very clean with normal driver side wear.

This project was a fun and frustrating experience one that has taught me a thing or two about patients (must have lots of) and control (not much just like buying real estate) and project creep (smaller wallet). With that said I am content with hanging on to it if the right buyer doesn't come along. This is not a have to sell scenario:beer:

It was because of your setup I decided to go the 302 stroker route, its different than a lot of others on the site. Not saying it would be bad if it did sell but hopefully I get to see a S/C on the setup if you do keep it one day

^^yeah I may just keep the beast. I'd love to finish it one day Vortech S-Trim 8-rib setup 12-14lbs, suspension, big brake kit, and paint, widend rims then accesorize it. What did your stroker project consist of?

After re reading I should have said that because of your set up, I am going to get a 302 stroker kit, and switch my block. I'm in the blue print stages but I've run in a road block. May I ask you what your compression ratio is with your stroker kit

dohc324ci
02-19-2012, 05:47 PM
10:1 stock compression are your planning on SC or NA? I almost went 11:1 but wanted moderate boost down the line which is what the motor is setup for. Id recommend doing a BOSS50 non stroked setup save the $1500 on other goodies.

Yes, supercharger is in the cars future, now that you bring it up it would be cheaper just to get the boss block and have that swaped in. I have more question pm me and ill ask you some more about your setup if you font mind

It looks to me like a good PDR (paintless dent repair) man could handle those dings. Compound off any paint scuff. Hopefully it did not get into the basecoat.
