Anybody ever replace the cover on the compartment in the console? I just elbowed through the cover....Suggestions?

The cover can be replaced by any half decent car interior shop.
I did mine years ago with a custom cover.

Don't have one handy, but here is the airbag cover which will give you an idea.
The center conseole has teh same logo at the front/center of it.

You can get the whole armrest / storage assembly. I know because I have a new one. I think I paid around $150. I can't find the receipt or I would give you the part number.

That's one cool job, Martyo. Haven't decided which way to go, new or fix, going to check some auto Upholstery shops this week. Split really isn't that bad, about 1 inch, but it 's just annoying.

I would bet you could get this recovered pretty reasonably considering the way the cover can be refastened to the arm rest.

I did it on mine. Went to a shop and bought what was needed. Came out looking great and original.

By the way, only cost me 16 bucks. Thats including a nice amount of vinyl and some staples for my staple gun. I still have a good amount of vinyle left.
