I have an 03 300A, my problem is this, on all 4 of my doors. The bottom of the armrest is peeling up. Is it fixable,or can they be replaced. Or do I have to find the whole door panel? Any feed back would be helpfull.

Indoor glue. Loctite was the brand I used to re-secure the rubber back down. No issues yet. Minimal smell.

Does the smell go away after awhile?

I used 2-part plastic epoxy and it worked fine......NO ODOR!!:banana2:
No new door panels available and I think they were $400+ when they were.....UGH!!:shake:
Good Luck and PM me with questions while I can still remember what I did!!;)

I used loctite. Make sure it is the kind that can handle -degrees all the way up to like 120 degrees. The smell goes away fully in like a week. Leave the windows down for a couple nights.

Unfortunately, I think we all have this problem with the armrest.

So how do I do this? With the panels on or off? High temp glue?
Any feed back would be helpful.

These arent great pictures by any means, but the rubberish arm rest pad is not attached at the bottom where it wraps under.

Yeah I have that same issue on 3/4 of mine, and that plus my paint flaking off the interior are my two interior issues. I considered an expoxy myself just didn't want anything to strong either. It is strange though that my drivers door doesn't have this issue.

Yeah my paint around the cup holders is kind of worn, But I plan to replace the center console soon. My latch for the cubby is broke. The dealer wants like $650.00 for the whole thing.
But I think a good heat safe glue would fix the armrest. Hopefully...... :(

+ (I lost count) mine too....just the front doors though. The only other thing that is bothering me is the gear select indicator.....it is scratching the paint under the plastic window and light shines thru where it isnt supposed to.

I removed the door panels and cleaned the gap between the armrest cover and the attachment it pulled away from really well with alcohol then masked off the the areas either side of the rest gap with the panel. Mixed the two part plastic epoxy I got from Wal-Mart and pulled the armrest away to coat the white polyethylene attachment it has pulled away from!!
After "gooing" it up good I forced the armrest cover back into place and taped it down with heavy packaging tape to hold it in place while the epoxy cured.
A couple hours later I removed the tape and it was fixed!! :D

Hey, just wanted to let you know I fixed the problem. Thanks for your help. And everyone's suggestions. I did go with the Loctite brand. It looks like new. But I didn't use tape, I just held it in place for like 5min.

No, mine has it on 2 doors here in the frozen north.
Attempted to fix it once. Try number 2 with epoxy pending......
