Shelby blower

I have a oppurtunity to buy a blower package from a 2008 Shelby GT 500. The car was taken to a performance shop when it was brand new and a different blower was installed. The factory one has all the pulleys, mounting bolts, and lots of hardware. I realize this came from a 5.4 motor, will it work on the 4.6? What else do I need intake, injectors, ecm? Would I have to put in a bigger fuel pump also? I can get a super deal, around $750.00 Would the cost of the other parts still make it worth it?

Its not a dirrect bolt on. But there is a Mustang member on I believe SVTP or Modular Fords thats makes an adapter plate so you can bolt on the GT500 blower to the Eaton style lower intake manifold.

What Guspech said but also you will also need all the other 2500-3000.00 in Eaton swap parts Theres alot more then just putting a blower on it. The only thing youre saving is the cost of a Eaton S/C which is only around 300.00 on avg.

It is about $900 for the adapter plate and the machining to the blower itself to make it work, the nice part with this particular mod is once it is done you can unbolt the blower without pulling everything else.
The blower isn't really that much more than the Eaton M112, it is a M122, very little difference in CFM from what I learned.

Get the parts off an '03 or '04 Terminator, including the blower.

This is the cheapest, easiest, best route to go, period.

Not to mention 750.00 is really no great deal. like others have said it is not alot more then the M112 performance wise. 750.00 blower + 900 adapter plate= 1650.00!! When U can get a 03 Cobra for say 300.00 maybe less. Heck 550.00 more you could buy a 2.2 KB a guy is selling on SVTP.

But if you've got money to blow and don't care about cost. By all means. Get the GT500 blower and Eaton swap set up. It will look very cool and for sure different. I've seen some 03-04 Cobras with the modded GT500 blower and adapter plate. It's pretty cool to look at.
