I noticed a small oil leak coming from the rear drivers side axle. It appears to be coming from a rubber hose attached to the top of the axle (vent hose).
I've read the hose may be clogged and should be replaced... Was there any specific rubber hose to use as the replacement?
Now that diff fluid has leaked should I replace the diff fluid as the car probably has the original (2nd owner) with 103,xxx mile??? Recommendations for diff fluid?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I live in Houston, TX. Anyone have any recommendations of where to have your Marauder worked on? I am contemplating getting 4.10 gears installed and the fluid changed..I can change the fluid myself but not to confident in updating to 4.10 gears...any good mechanics out there in Houston? Thanks.

Redline 75w-140, no need for any additives.
If the hose is clogged any fuel / oil resistant line of the correct length and diameter will work.

Thanks for the replies! Took the vent hose off and cleaned it and put it back on as it seemed to be in good shape.
I will be changing the diff fluid asap. Is the vent hose puking a sign of something more serious I should be concerned with as the hose did not seem clogged at all?

Went to the FORD Dealership and picked up the Friction add in and 4 qts of 80w90 per Dealer specs...Is anyone else using 80w90 motorcraft or should I use 75w140 (redline, RP, Amsoil)? Thanks..

Use 75W140, that is the new update spec fluid for the rear axle. Last time I had mine open I just used Motorcraft and the 4 oz FM.
The fill hole is on the front side of the pumpkin, there is no drain plug unless you have an aftermarket diff cover. Also pick up some Permatex Ultra Black RTV and clean off the surface on the pumpkin and cover real well before using it to bead a seal.
