What is the box mounted under the trunk that has gas lines running to it and a valve with electrical run to it? Is it for gas vapor recirculation?

Also, anyone have a link to fuel pump installation with pics? I did a search and didn't find much.

That's your vapor gas recovery. Here's a nice diy thread that helps a bunch. If you're careful and have skinny hands, you can pull enough slack in the wiring above to help. http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=27632&highlight=pump
