code B1601 no crank no nothing

so this code came up and wont crank no nothing, erased the code and popped rightback up no crank no nothing

ill go back out here hour later will start, then once turn off no crank no nothing

code sayd info not avaibilbe , after some research sayd has to do with the PATS system and need to reprogram my keys and system

just another problem after another

Here's what I found....

B1601: Unprogrammed PATS key. There is no issue with the PATS key itself, but must be programmed into the PATS memory (unless maximum number of keys already programmed). Follow Spare Key Programming Procedure from the chart. No parts should need to be replaced for this code.

Have a spare key you can use?

yes sir got 2 keys that a had and got two more keys programmed always good to have a extra so after i progmaeed these 2 keys everything went downhill from there all 4 keys wont start car now. ITs crazy cuz will start after i let sifor hour then when turn off wont start back up for another hour idk

Were the two extra keys you got programmed OEM Ford keys or aftermarket?

If they were non-OEM Ford keys they can cause PATS issues.

Correct, non OEM keys can cause PATS issues. A trip to the dealer may be in order.

you guy are both correct they were non factory keys so im guessing im goin to have to go to dealership and reprogram the 2 oem keys and throw those 2 aftermarket keys out. reproamming is very expensive some places do it for free, but that was my dumb fault to begin with
