Can a 03 long overhead console be mounted inplace of a short console on an 04? is the mounting the same? or different?

I'm pretty certain they're different mounts (i.e. more of 'em on the long console).

You can't mount a long console in a "short console MM without the extra bracket(s).

Ok, Thanks, So is it just the matter of attaching the additional bracket? Remove old console, take down headliner, attach extra bracket, attach headliner and then new console/wiring for lights etc.? Sort of a plug and play? I miss the The compartment/storage that I had in my CV Sport before the Marauder so just seeing if switching out is feasible with out too much trouble. I don't want to risk damaging something.
