Hey Guys, No im not a Marauder owner, YET, but i am a ase cert. tech. I have a few quick q's....
I have heard that the Marauder is going to be discountinued at the end of 2004, is this true?..... Or is this beauty still going to be avaible after that? Also, what colors are avail, right now as if i was going to buy a new one? I know black, dark red, and white are avail. But is blue and silver still being made? I see hte members sig's, with the numbers 300 or 800 and then a letter (A), what is this? One of the options with the car or production type?
Lastly, what is the Kenny Brown edition??
Thanks in advance fellas!!!

right now: Black, Silver, and D.T.Red. in 2003 they were: Black, Silver, and Blue. White has never been offered.

I'll let SergntMac fill you in on this!
You said you were an ASE mechanic. Do you work at a F/L/M dealership?
Welcome to the site! Any questions,... just ask!

Kenny Brown is a vendor on this site check out his site in the Forums section. I believe KB was the first to offer a S/C package for the Marauder. KB also offers performance packages for the Mustang and SUVs, check out his site to learn more.

Haustkraft - Welcome to the MM site. There are several Kenny Brown Marauder owners on this site. Two come to mind The Sarge and Haggis. As far as the 2005 models there is nothing etched in concrete as to their production. :D

The getting is pretty good on Marauders right now, especially if you find a "left over" 2003. Some of them are selling around $23,000! Do some hunting

IMHO, if you're looking to have some fun, look around for the oldest and worst condition POS Marauder you can find and buy it as cheap as possible. Over the last 18 months, I think we have rebuilt the MM front to back, including custom paint. By and large, it's been a real ball, don't miss out on this. It's been years since Detroit turned out a real automotive toy that wasn't a Mustang, if you like tinkering, you have found your playground.
Kenny Brown is a vendor here who builds turn key supercharged MMs, it's one stop shopping. Vortech based supercharger.
(Dennis) Reinhart Automotive is a vendor here who offers us all the upgrades one could ask for, and often hosts group buys for the membership here. He also provides a lot of technical 411 for us and will help solve problems if he can. Vortech based supercharger
(Jerry Barnes) Trilogy Motorsports is a vendor here who offers us an Eaton based supercharger kit for self installation, and that can be arranged through Alternative Automotive (Lidio) also a vendor here.
These are the more involved vendors, and we keep them busy. There are many more vendors supporting us with specialty items such as brakes and exhaust, page through that forum for more selections.
You have some modding to catch up on, get busy.

Thanks guys. I am graduating next month, and recieving my ASE Cert in whatever feild i want to go for. I am planning on go to a few ford dealerships near my house (Sunnyside Ford, or Harr Ford). Thanks for the info. I want to get a Marauder, but a new one. Well just have to see what $ resources i can acquire to get one. Right now im rebuilding my Bronco, but i want a American Powercar to have fun with. So it will be either the Maruader, or the new stang, I dunno. Thanks for all the info guys, i will keep checking back with you.
P.S. IF you go to the ford.com site, then mercury, they show that the 04 Marauder in white under colors....?? (I really wanted to get a silver 04, but too bad)

That's a good question. Mercury's web site shows three colors; Red, Silver & Black for 2004.
