I am going to add methanol to my newest mix.
I see a lot of people using Snow Performance
I googled methanol injection kits and several came up.
Has anyone tried anything else?
And for those using it did you use their butt ugly tank?

I used it on my mustang years ago. I placed the tank under my hood. You can mount it in the trunk and run the hose and wiring back to the front

I am using the Alky control methanol kit and I am using my windshield wiper fluid reservoir for my methanol.

Meth is good stuff Gary. Do you have E85 available at the keys?

Your trilogy kit has the IAT sensor in the lower intake manifold right? Make sure that your tuner is aggressive with pulling timing as the IAT temps rise, just in case the methanol injestion fails

The alky injection kit does come with a light that is "supposed" to indicate when the kit is not working.

I was gonna gonna go with meth till I read so many countless stories on various mustang sites claiming the eatons build to much heat to soon and Meth kits were only dropping the IATS 3-12 degrees on average. I changed gears and think I am gonna go with the killer chiller now.

I have a new full kit less a tank laying around here somewhere, I would part with if you are interested.

IIRC that light is based off current draw not flow its still possible to have a working pump(IE current draw) and a plugged filter, nozzel or a split or leaking line resulting in no or reduced meth injection.

Hey Gary.......LillAlleykatt had a Snow Meth kit on his Trilogy at one point..... Forget which motor (the stocker or the one after it) He was less than enthusiastic about it performance impact.......... Search for LillAlleykatt...See what pops... On MCM.com as well.....:burnout:
