Hey all,
Just noticed Ive been getting the air ride suspension light intermittently. I hear the compressor go off for 15-20 seconds then light pops up. I just switch the system off then back on the compressor then kicks off again like normal and light goes away. Based on the searches I suspect the the ride height sensor being the culprit. Since compressor is working?
Others who have swapped this out please chime in!
130k miles on the car with original shocks. Looking to swap the shocks/struts out for some KYBs in the spring.
Regards,
Brian

Probably the compressor. They still come on but don't do their job. It's probably pretty loud too, right?
Mine needed the pump AND the sensor.
If you have 130k + on the original then you did good. Replace it.

Perhaps I should just do the whole system and be done...lol
Ok I was on Suncore's website and their full system is $359.00

Marauder Suspension Kit includes 2 Rear Air Springs, 1 Compressor with dryer, and 2 solenoids. Sounds like a deal. The compressor and dryer only from Ford is $463.52!
FYI local Ford dealer price:
$129.63 - Ride Height Sensor PN: 8W1Z5359A
$463.52 - Air Compressor and Dryer PN: 4W3Z5319AA

The loudness is the same to me:confused: since 80k...Ill swap the sensor and plan to do the whole system with shocks this spring/summer if I still have her.

Found the wires going from the airbags attached to the rear axle got loose and somehow managed work its way over to the exhaust! Anyhow some electric tape and tie wrap took car of it. Works like a charm again!
