You're right, sounds terminal. Better sell the car before it runs you into the ground.

When you turn the steering wheel does it make chrunking sound . It's most Likly the clock spring, that needs to be replaces

na no sounds after a while it will go off and every once in a while few weeks later will pop back up for a day or two then go away for another months so im clueless

I forgot the air bag codes but I believe mine was forty three "4 blinks then 3 blinks and stays on" anyway it was the drivers side air bag sensor, replaced it myself and it when away........about 125.00 dollars or so from the dealership.;)

Mine was the front crash sensor that is located on the crossbrace in front of the radiator. It had a bad connection. You pull off the big plastic cover in front and it is in the middle of the brace and it only has two wires going to it unplug it and see if it is dirty and then clean if necessary and plug it back in. Hope this helps. Just remember it is an older car so expect problems to crop up. Then if they don't you are happy, but if they do you expected it and it should not be that upsetting. I have several problems with one of mine but it does not stop me from driving it so no big deal. I fix them when I can or find someone who can help. :help:
