How much is a tune from reinhart

I was going to install 4.10s and i was wondering if i can run the car without a tune. Or if i needed to get a tune and what would happen if i didnt get it tuned. Also.. I know i need the sct scanner but how much does a tune cost after that? Any help is appreciated thanks

Get a tuner from Dennis and he'll probably just put a good tune on it. It will wake the MM up too. Without a tune after installing 4.10's, and you'll never know how fast you'll be going.

I don't have 4.10 gears, but hearing what many other members have said on this site, your speedometer will be off by a couple of miles per hour. I'm not sure if their are any other effects to not having a tune with the gears. You can contact him and order the tuner along with the tune and have it all programmed in the tuner when you get it so it can be downloaded easily. Also, Lidio does tuning as well (alternative auto I believe) and he does the same thing. Just have to let them know what modifications you have done to the vehicle.

Up to you, if you're planning to go with gears and pullies, just let the tuner know and he can plug one in an open slot to accomodate those mods.

Reinhart is no longer a vendor here so we look at Lidio and now Mo's as the only options.

You'll need a 4.10 gear tune and bump your idle rpms up by 200 after installing the Steeda underdrive pulleys.

Both Marty and Lidio have been around since the beginning so you cant go wrong with either one -they are both Great!

I would get a tuner and have it loaded for 3.55 gear (current) and for the 4.10 gear at 93. I believe they can put 3 tunes on so for the 4:10 one I would also add a 91 octane tune because I know sometimes when I travel I cant find 93.

You should get this done asap as you will enjoy your car alot better! It is like night and day. Good Luck

A Marty tune is the way to go in my opinion. He tuned mine and I loved it, great for driving and aggressive enough that I tell people

And Marty just greatly upgraded my Blue with a whole bunch of go fast parts, can't wait to pick it up tomorrow

I will have to say that DR has always taken good care of me and most of you know I have had his S/C kit for the last couple of years. Due to him being so far away I decided to go meet with Marty a few weeks back and bounce off him and his guys in the shop the ideas I was having. With Marty being so close to me (40 min away) I got to know him and realized I had a great shop in my back yard. He has taken care of both of my cars over the past few weeks and has been "Johnny on the spot" with the mods I have undertaken this go around. I would highly recommend both shops (BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE). But with Marty being here close to me and seeing how good of a job they do I will be shooting him the business from now on.

Marty, I picked up the NA car today and it runs like a scaulded dog. I like how it feels and was impressed with the numbers after Jeff's tune. 285 RWHP and 308 RWTQ. Impressive on stock engine and headers!! Thanks!! I can't wait to get the BADBOY you still have of mine back! :beer:

I have communicated with Marty. I know Marty's reputation and I have many friends on the site who have had very positive dealings with Marty. If he was a bit closer, my car would be his for a while.:D

In a few weeks, once Winter is over and his car comes out of hibernation, my husband will load his Lidio tune. Then we can do some comparison to my Zack tune, which I have been very happy with over the past few years.
