What is a GV unit on the back?
I believe he's referring to a Gear Vendors Overdrive Unit, which my understanding is that it allows you to run a super steep gear in the rear end, while also having a streetable overdrive gear. Basically it will let you drive your race car on the highway without blowing up the transmission.
