I just stopped by Harnish LM in Puyallup, and they have an 04 DTR.
I asked the salesman how many 2003's Harnish sold, and he said 10. Of those, there are only 2 that are MM.net members. Olympia LM sold two, and is doing the services on another one that was purchased out of state.

That leaves 10 more MM's sold in the south sound that we need to keep an eye out for. It would be nice to get a regional meet in the spring, and the more the merrier!

I also told the salesman how dissapointed I was with Mercury's marketing of this fine automobile, and that if he had some one thinking about the car, send them over to MM.net and the car will be as good as sold.

PS This was the same guy that sold the Blue from Harnish.

Hi Teamrope,
Yep that was my Blue03 from Harnish. Up here Harbour Pointe sold at least 4. Maybe we can get a decent size WWMM meet early this spring. I wonder if 1 BAD 03 MM and 01 Interceptor are game? See my PM for more stuff!
Cheers Blue03

LM of olympia sold 2 also, and the are sevicing another one that moved here from out of state, so that makes at least 17 MMs up here. It would seem like there should be more dealers than that up here.

I also saw a silver at the LM dealer in Chehailis. I wonder If they were there in 03, and if they were, did they sell any.

With 17 up here, you would think you would see one on the road once in a while. So far I have yet to see another MM driving around. Tempting to get the badgless grill and replace the Mercury emblem in the back with the god's head logo. Let everyone else wonder WTF IS IT?

Any of you North West folks planning on making the trip to MVII?

At 2200+ Miles and 2 to 3 long days each way, I'm not excited about that kind of a drive. My comfort zone would be 1200 mi +- or so. From the Seattle area, that would be on an arc of about Bismark, Denver, Phoenix or San Diego. Indianapolis does sound like a great place for the meet. I'm still pondering the plane thing as I know it will be a great time! Then again I could use the ticket money to get Stage 1...but if I go.. I'll salivate all over the mods everyone has made and end up doing Stage 1 anyway. So to finally answer your question... I'm conflicted, don't know yet and still thinking about it!!

hey guys... so a couple nights ago, wednesday the 11th to be exact, I was standing out on my buddies deck trying to decide whether to get these insanely cool wheels for my 99 CVPI. it was logic vs that burning desire to have the coolest car on the block. so I happen to look down (he is on the 4th floor) and coming up the hill is a sleek black Marauder! :baaa: i don't know what year or anything, but no doubt that's what it was.. I thought this uncanny and took it as a sign, so I bought the wheels. oh yeah, the MM was heading up Belmont towards Broadway on Capitol Hill.. anyone on this forum?
oh, also, a bunch of us CV folks are going to try and plan a meet or two in the NW sometime very soon.. I really hope some MM people can attend! I love these cars so much, and although I can't afford one outright, am trying to build my own. :cool4:

thanks,
Randy

Nothing in concrete yet, but we're gettin' ready to set the forms. Looking at March/April timeframe. Know any good places to meet in SeaTac?

There's a Cruise spot in Burien and one in Auburn, drive-in type.

What are the names and general locations?

Hey! The 23 sounds like a cool toy. Do you hit the shows with it?

Sorry it took so long to reply.
Big Daddy's Drive Inn. 1138 Auburn Way S - map Auburn, WA 253.833.7255
I couldn't find the address for the Burien one but it is every Friday night in the Fred Meyer parking lot.

On the Roadster, it has been to a lot of shows over the years.

Hi Guys,
Friday nights are harder than Sat/Suns. But if you pick a time and place with enough up lead time, I'll try to get there too!
Cheers

XXX Root Beer in Issaquah is THE place to meet. They have car shows every weekend during the spring/summer months, some even show when the weather is unfavorable. This is the LAST XXX Root Beer in existence. Jose, the owner there, is a great guy...he'll even throw in some goodies is we get enough people and plan ahead. Last time the Puget Sound Super Sport Team met (the local SS club, of which I am a member), he gave us some t-shirts and other things that we could raffle off and give out to members. (The raffle tickets were free...only one per person. I didn't win anything:cry: )
