Hello all -
I am new to Marauders... I only know a little bit about the components of the car... I have wanted one for years and am just about ready to cut a deal on a 2004 Silver Birch MM with 46k on the clock. I am very excited as it will be my daily driver for the next five years or so.
The only issue I have with the car is the factory spoiler... I just don't like how it looks. If I were to remove it, would there be holes left behind? Or is it 3M'd to the trunklid? Also, if I were to remove the rear Mercury badge, does that have holes behind it as well?
I have a 2002 Mustang GT and every emblem (and the spoiler) has holes behind it and its extremely costly to fill them. Never been one for spoilers or emblems I guess.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Buy the car and head on down to Alabama and we'll swap trunk lids. Mine don't have a spoiler but it does have a badge.

Oh my god that is gorgeous. That could be my new favorite MM... Makes the trunk lock stick out a bit... Looks great nevertheless...

Your Car Looks FHP ready [ for action ] back in service to combat Charger cruzers :banana2:
I could have sworn that you guys said the rear Mercury emblem was "STUCK ON"!
And all that you needed to remove it was a fishing line???

There are holes for alignment purposes and emblems are adhered with adhesive tape.

Its a shame that the holes are there. Too bad they couldn't just stick the emblem to the lid correctly... without guide holes.

i to don't care for the look of the spoiler, i feel it looks out of place in relation to the badge. however if the badge was removed it might look better.

how about 2 nicely painted oval/shaped plates. If done well, should look fine. Saves the fill effort and major paint.
