Hey everyone, new to this forum, I've been on LS1tech and dieselplace.com for quite a long time. Currently in the market to buy a marauder may possibly pick up one this weekend.

I'm looking forward to owning one and getting started on an eaton swap :). I love boosted vehicles... my current DD is a 01 Silverado with a Duramax with EFI Live tuning and some other goodies :)

Welcome. I was born and raised in Indianapolis. Had to pursue better job opportunities so ended up in California. Which side of Indianapolis do you live on? Good luck. Hope you find a good Marauder.

I'm on the west side of indianapolis right now. I appreciate the welcome and the MM I'm hoping to get will replace my truck pretty much as a daily car for the time being but will drive the truck from time to time since 1000 ft/lb of torque is fun :)

You have your eye on one? I pick mine up Saturday and I've noticed over the last couple of months that cars are selling more quickly than about a year ago. Hopefully you can land it without trouble.

Welcome from another newb.

^^ Not yet, the one I'm looking at I'm waiting for the dealer to call me back since it is out of state, I made a very reasonable offer but if the dealer is unwilling to work I'm just gonna walk away... especially since it'd be a cash deal.

It's a black on black one, not really sure what options they came with.

Whelp spoke to the dealer, they wouldn't budge off asking price which is higher than NADA retail on it so i told them politely no thanks and see ya. Cash in hand :)

How long have they had it? There've been a few at dealers here that sat for 2-3 months, then one day, *poof*.

I also wonder if it is in a dealer's best interest to finance a car vs. sell it for cash. That way the gain a financing fee. Even if it's a partial financing option, they stand to make easy money.

^^^ Even if I was financing I wouldn't use the dealer's bank's for the exact reason that they make money from it ontop of making money on the car.
